Special Lenten* Study - Begins February 26 at 10:10am. The Choir Room class will be led by our Wesley Seminary Intern, Melissa Allison, during a short-term study that will parallel our sermon-series "A Journey to Hope." This is a great chance to give Bible study a try and meet some new people. Everyone is welcome!
*Lent is the season of 6 weeks that leads up to Easter - a time many churches set aside for personal reflection and self-discovery that helps us to understand more deeply our need for God and the gift of Jesus' life, death and resurrection.
Wesley Fellowship – Room 7: This class of over a dozen has been meeting for several years and follows the "Adult Bible Studies" series of the United Methodist Church. The class is taught on a rotating basis by the members of the class.
Bible Study – Parlor: Have you ever noticed that the Book of John in the New Testament is noticeably different than the 3 other gospels (Matthew, Mark, and Luke)? Learn more about this beautifully and powerfully written gospel in this new, ongoing class. The class is led by Karen Cameron, who has received rave reviews after years of teaching at Oak Chapel!
Small Group Discussion – Choir Room: This small will spend 6-8 weeks on a particular book or Bible-based study picked by the group. They are currently working their way through Paul's theological masterpiece, Romans. Facilitated by Clark Rector.
NEW EVENING BIBLE STUDY! Join the new adult Bible study that meets on Sunday evenings from 6:30-8:30pm (the same time as youth group). This small group is studying the book of Acts and there is always room at the table for newcomers! For more information contact the church office.
