Temporal Business: Church Maintenance Projects-

Oak Chapel's Spring work day on April 16th was a wonderful success.

30 Plus people came and a number of our projects were started and some were completed.

  1. Replace sink faucet in commercial kitchen.DONE
  2. Replace/Fix dripping spigots in lavatories.DONE
  3. Refinish the railings at the entrance to the Fellowship Hall. DONE
    (Remove Rust and re-paint.)
  4. Refinish the railings at the entrance to the Chapel Hall, (Historic Chapel.)
    (Remove Rust and re-paint.)
  5. Paint first floor interior of Admin Building (church office.)DONE
  6. Paint Admin Building stoop.
  7. Replace seals around air conditioning units in Admin Building upstairs apartment.
  8. Enclose Stairway in Education Building and convert to storage space.
  9. Annual window washing in all buildings. Done
  10. Repair seams in countertops in warming kitchen.DONE
  11. Re-tile floor in Education Building.DONE
  12. Remove Yucca and undesirable plants from cemetery. Done
  13. Re-set Headstones in cemetery.
  14. ReHab gardens adjacent to Chapel Hall 50% Complete
  15. ReHab gardens adjacent to Fellowship Hall Done
  16. Repair flagstone walkway adjacent to Chapel Hall. 80% Complete
  17. Seal Noah's Ark Mural. Done
  18. Mount New Bulletin Board in Fellowship Hall.
  19. Re-Tile floor in basement of Education Building.DONE
  20. Clean and reseal HVAC enclosures next to Fellowship Hall.
  21. Trim shrubs in all gardens.
  22. Repair pothole in road. Done.

   (You can work on any of these projects at your own pace and at times that fit your schedule.)
