Sunday School, Vacation Bible School, Confirmation Class and Acolyte Guild.

Children's Sunday School is held immediately after the Children's Sermon at the 9:15 am service, (about 9:40 a.m.) Children are present for the beginning of the 9:15 am service and participate in our sing-a-long, receive a short message or sermon and then are excused to relaxed age-appropriate classes. Children's Church is held in room 1 of the Fellowship Hall at the 11:00 am service and features a relaxed atmoshpere of discussion and relection without the formalities of a standard church worship service.

Vacation Bible School: (VBS) We host an annual Vacation Bible School every summer for two weeks with games, christian messages and prizes for all.

Confirmation Class: Youths in 6th grade and above prepare for full church membership through a thirteen-session survey of the Bible, Christian doctrine, church history, and Christian discipleship. The course usually includes one or two field trips.

Acolyte Guild: Children assist us in our worship service by attending to the altar candles. This gives those who wish an opportunity to participate in a regular church service and see "what the big people do in church." Each child serves a couple of times per year. This is a helpful part of our children's education and exposure to a formal worship service on an intermittent basis.

We have two youth choirs, The Acorn Choir for Elementary School Students and the Shining Voices Choir for Middle School students.....

Elementary and Middle School

We have an Elementary and Middle School which caters to the needs of the community and for persons in all income categories. To learn more about our school see our modern history page.

Childcare

We have Nursery-age Child Care available during our Sunday Services from 9:00 a.m. to 12:15 p.m in the nursery - room 5 in the Fellowship Hall.
(Elementary and Middle School age students can go to either Sunday School at 9:30 am or Children's Church at 11:00 am.)

During the week we have professional Daycare Service from 6:30 am to 6:00 pm provided both separately and in conjunction with the school.
